International students that have championed multiculturalism, student mentoring and community volunteering, WA institutions and professional staff that have maintained connection with students on-shore and off-shore, and promoted health and well-being for students separated from their families during COVID-19 are among the six winners of the 2021 CISWA Awards.
The winners of the awards were announced at a ceremony during StudyPerth AGM and End of Year Event at RAC Arena Perth, in front of more than 200 attendees, recognising the contribution of international students, education providers and professional staff dedicated to supporting the international student community in WA.
The Award Ceremony was hosted by the CISWA President Dr Kevin McKenna and the awards were presented by the sponsor representatives: Pam Moss, Director, Public Schools Planning, Department of Education WA; Glenda Husk, A/Executive Director for Service Delivery, Department of Training and Workforce Development; Stephanie Juszkiewicz, Senior VP Aviation Business Development, Perth Airport; Dr Kevin McKenna on behalf of Medibank; Rod Jones, the Founder and Chairman of Navitas.
